La Gombe is owned by a CMAS/LIFRAS diving club call C.L.A.S.

As non class members it's only allowed to dive as a club on sunday afternoon altough there are recently options for a limited amount of clubs to join C.L.A.S. at the sunday morning dive (when visibility is better, but you have to pay more). The diving is organized strictly and there are some regulations concerning safety you must be aware off.

The depth is up to 29m and there are a lot of artifacts like a jetfighter, a militray tank, two small caves and some tubes which you're allowed to enter.

Visability varies and is normally best in the morning.

Major attraction (besides the belgium snackbar ;-) are the large sturgeons and carps which are very well used to divers and love there presence. Feeding and caressing them is however not allowed.

It's possibly to fill tanks with up to 200bar of pressure for little money.
